|11:33 am - Hey There, I Like Your Hair Loopies!|
Avatar fans, I am about to MAKE YOUR DAY.
Courtesy of peri_peteia: "School Time Shipping," one of possibly THREE chibi-style shorts for the "Escape from the Spirit World" game that's supposed to keep us occupied until whenever the hell they decide to start Book 3. The password is Koh. (Note: you should also play the game itself, as it gives you awesome comic books that tell you about the past Avatars!! Find the passwords here.)
It's...pretty much the most hilariously absurd and amazing bit of fanservice in all of recorded history. IT'S LIKE THEY LOVE US, YOU GUYS.
I have been wanting to write another grand post about why you should all watch Avatar and discover its amazing awesomeness and experience the endless fount of love and witness, in Zuko, one of the greatest character arcs I've ever seen, but I haven't gotten around to it. Maybe if I just keep mentioning it, you'll give it a shot. It now has raelee's endorsement! That's got to mean something, right? She watches three thousand shows, so she knows quality when she sees it!
Avatar, I love you so!! With your giant flying bison and epic betrayals and sociopathic teenagers and schoolboy crushes and snarky banter and MY CABBAGES! and hybrid animals and political intrigue and TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPH and plot twists that aren't actually plot twists but exactly where the plot should go if you stopped to throw away your expectations of televison story conventions and gorgeous music and phenomenal cosmic powers in an itty bitty living space and a hundred years of pain and suffering and I believe Aang can save the world and and AND OH MY GOD. Please don't not give it a chance because it's a cartoon on Nickelodeon.
Mike and Bryan rule the school. Step aside, all other showrunners ever.
Current Mood: hilaritized
Current Music: Muse - Starlight
DON'T MAKE ME USE MY MOON POWERS ON YOU!

I edited my post to include a link to the game! Go watch the comic books; they're so cool!

I'm pretty sure I read that meta.
You know, I've never stopped by to thank you for pimping Avatar in the past. I am totally and completely hooked, and love it beyond reason and can not wait until it's back. So anyway, mucho gracias. :)
I had no idea! I'm so glad you love it beyond reason! That is the only way to love this show! I cannot wait till it's back either!

But three Chakras ago that was a GOOD thing!
I watched the clip, but don't have time to look at this further right now. Baby everyone! Whee!
Mike and Bryan rule the school.
But do they rule the school at eatin' sloppy joes?
If you can point me to a download source, or a viewing source like YouTube, I'll even check this out today. :)

I gave it a chance! A weenie little chance, true.
A year from now I'll probably be marathoning and "OMGZ AWESOME!11!"
if uncle iroh were my guidence counselor, I think I would have done a lot better in school.

Hey! I don't watch THREE thousand. ONE thousand, TOPS! I did post about my love for it, though, and I GUSHED. That's without even getting into each character and why I love them so. Not to mention the storylines and why I love that Aang's masters have all been young benders and what I think that means or the episodes and scenes that are my absolute favorites.
Also, I forgot to mention that any time anyone screws up something at the office - things that they constantly screw up on me - I mutter (I'd exclaim but I get enough weird looks as it is), "My cabbages!"
Yay for gushing! Thanks for telling me, because I must have missed it in my flist scroll.

I. . .really need to get the first book on DVD, because I am just TiVoing them and watching them in whatever order and trying to peice the stories together which I KNOW is ruining the narrative arc but I CAN"T STOP and I get very upset when there is no Avatar on my TiVo and I'm a little concerned about the MORAL CRISIS I'm having about really wanting my new CARTOON TV boyfriend to get his honor back but not wanting him to because it would be at the cost of THE MOST AWESOME PRETEEN HERO SINCE MIGHT MAX (which, you may not know this, but from me is HIGH PRAISE) and WHY DO I HAVE A CARTOON TV BOYFRIEND? Or a MORAL CRISIS ABOUT HIM? I blame you. You and your VM-set-visiting self, who has me wandering the country looking for hot Indian girls and watching Nick Toons. : P

Mighty Max, rather. I don't care about spelling errors, but I should get the Chosen One's name right.
