Okay, you guys are amazing. I've raised over a thousand dollars already! I need to adjust my goal; I can totally raise way more than $1,800 in exchange for my burning calves. What do you think? $3,000? $4,000? It's doable! Also, if you happen to have donated $150 the day I posted about the contest, you are currently in the lead. Since Rob doesn't count. You guys are awesome. Thank you so much.

He so wouldn't break the bro code... but part of that is I think he might really fear that she does have some power that would hurt little dick & his bank account.
I want some beaver/mac/dick fallout already.

I enjoyed it a lot too, but I usually do. I don't obsess like season 1 and I don't save episodes to rewatch like season 1, but I still look forward to watching, get involved, and gasp. I think it's good tv. The egg/car definitly makes Mindy shady.
I am irritated over the erasing of the calls bc you just don't do that. You save for later bc HELLO, obsessing. Cliched & unrealistic in my book.
*You* may not do that, but I've erased quite a few voicemails in my day after hearing the person's voice. In fact, I related to Veronica's behavior in this episode all too well wrt to the Madison situation. It was extremely realistic imho.
Hi! I stumbled upon your post through _jems_ entry, and I just wanted to let you know that I agree with almost every point you make! I'm so glad there's another person who actually ENJOYED this episode, and, to use your words, felt like it was "classic VM." Mind if I friend you?
Not at all! Come join my happy place of still enjoying the show despite recognizing its flaws from time to time!

I am so proud of myself because I solved the MOTW the second Phyllis was introduced. But seriously, how many teenagers are named Phyllis these days?
I KNEW that would be your subject line!

I think people lose perspective a little bit sometimes, wondering why their show isn't adhering to the perfect path they had in mind for it instead of taking a good look at the path it is taking. Which is why I only dip my toes into VM fandom occassionally. Too many people are hung up on how things must be or else.
Hi! I've seen you a lot on soleta_nf
's LJ, so I came to take a look! It looks like we have some common interests, so I've added you to my friends list!
Not going to read your spoilers until I can get caught up on Veronica Mars. Just wanted to introduce myself. :)
Hi! I've seen you a lot too; I didn't realize you didn't already have me friended. Heh.
I was just happy that Veronica, Keith, and pelvic thrusts weren't in the same room this week.
I just wanted to delurk and say that I really enjoy reading your VM posts and your friends' comments to them. I LOVE the show, so it's nice to see that there are people who feel the same. I think more of us do exist, we're just not as vocal as the others. I loved this episode as well, just not the L/V parts. And that's not because I'm some shipper who's all "OMG, how dare you break them up again?" but more because I'm pretty much over that ship and was thinking I'd much rather be seeing some V/Wallace BFF scenes than the L/V stuff.
Aww, I'm glad! I agree that the people who still like the show just sort of go hide in the corner and like the show by themselves.
I did have a few issues with the episode (namely the Madison stuff that you mentioned), but all of that doesn't really matter because Dick called my name ("Hey Nadia!")! It was so funny...and strange. But awesome.
Hi! I found your journal while LJ-hopping through VM-related stuff.
I was really happy to read your post about this episode. I thought the episode was really good, and I was pretty happy, until I went online to read some of the fandom reactions. HARSH, DUDE. So I was really glad that I came here and found out that there are those who still like the show.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hi. And that I will probably be stalking your journal for VM-related posts from now on. :)
See you tonight! This is a VM-positive zone.
