|07:54 pm - So That One Day in Your Memoirs|
Boy, we sure had a lot of fun last night, eh? Buffy even stopped by!
Anyway, it occurred to me that I completely forgot to celebrate my one-year LJversary. That's right, peoples: I made my first LJ post on January 29, 2005. At the time, this journal existed solely to promote Protein Angst. I snagged twenty or thirty friends (that is, people who already knew me) within a couple days. Since then, I've posted, like, six blog posts, friended over two hundred people, and been friended by over three hundred people. I certainly didn't expect it, and I know I owe it all to Veronica Mars. You guys rock.
Shout-outs to allthelivesofme and foresthouse, my very first LiveJournal friends (that is, people I met through LJ), who have still not seen VM.
Some sort of Polter-Cow Retrospective would be fun, I suppose, but GG is on in five minutes. Perhaps later.
So: there's been a lot of new blood since Austin, and I know there are five or six people on my flist who couldn't care less about VM, so the following exercise is a win-win situation.
I want you to hit me as hard as you can.
Wait, fuck, wrong exercise.
I want you to ask me a question as hard as you can.
One question. Because there's a fucking lot of you. It can be about me, my journal, anything. Well, almost anything. Point is, this is a way for you to get to know me. I'll answer all the questions in a post...eventually.
There's one more thing, though: along with your question, I want you to tell me one random fact about yourself. These facts will be judged by a tribunal of radioactive monkeys, and the person with the best fact wins a prize. The prize being I will write a post on the subject of his or her choice.
While you think of your question and random fact, please take this very, very serious poll.
Which are cooler: ninjas or pirates?
If you adopted a sea lion, what would you name it?
I don't believe in adoption
I don't believe in sea lions
What is your favorite curse word?
What is the answer to this question?
