flying bisons dude
YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO.
Re: flying bisons dude
I am totally itching to DVR this week's episode. I JUST MIGHT, YOU KNOW.
But I am not sure I can survive without my nine-year-old cousin to help explain things to me.
I knooooooow. I was going to try to mainline everything before the season started, but I don't think I have tiiiiiiiime. Because I have to watch the British series first and then catch up on the American series and I don't want to pull an Entourage again!
Also, you only want to read GG posts? You don't even want to read my VM posts? *cries*

Hee, hee - so if you watch Gilmore Girls is this a new show for you? Because I don't remember you commenting on it before. I used to adore this show but am now in the utter loathing of the storyline phase of our affair (we barely talk) so I'm all bitter about it and would adore harsh critiquing. Hee - because I'm just evil that way.
Oh, no, I've watched GG for years. I've just never felt like posting about it; I'm not as in love with it as I used to be either. It has its moments, but it feels like the shine has mostly worn off. It's doing well in the poll, however, so harsh critiquing may be on its way.
Where is your extremely hot Lauren Graham icon??
Justice sucks. But Justice has Said and Spydaddy! Therefore it does not suck. My logic is dizzying, I know. (Don't watch it, you'll be disappointed)
But Justice has Said and Spydaddy!
I know! I mean, how could that not be awesome?? But apparently it is not awesome. For shame.
Oh, by the way: THANK YOU FOR THE BIRTHDAY PRESENT YAAAAY. I was so happy, as DLM DVDs are the sort of thing I am not likely to buy for myself, despite wanting them.

Did you ever watch Nip/Tuck. It has terrible things happening to horrible people. I am amused by it's ridiculousness. And that it has the best soundtrackes ever.
Ha, a friend of mine and I were just talking about that show a couple days ago. I never saw it, although I heard mostly good things about it.
I said I'd watch Gilmore Girls in the poll, but as of now the plan is to watch just one or two episodes to see if my interest in magically renewed.
The show you ought to watch and post about is America's Next Top Model. There is SO much to mock on that show and it is SO very bad that I think you'd kill me dead with your snark.
I wouldn't be able to sit through an entire episode of that show. Just seeing the ending every week before VM was enough.
"Now, there are two of you! I have one name in my hand! It is the name of one of you! The name of the person I call will NOT be returning, see? I'm not going to call the name of the person who gets to stay, but that person will know she gets to stay because her name is NOT the name I call? Are we all clear on this part where I say someone's name, and someone is happy and someone cries, well, everyone cries, but there's only one name in my hand, is what I'm saying."

That's all I'm capable of thinking at this time.
|Date:||September 18th, 2006 05:22 pm (UTC)|| |
Me too. I am flirting with the wrath of whatever from high a top the thing by downloading Studio 60 but I must.
|Date:||September 18th, 2006 05:13 pm (UTC)|| |
After taking this poll, it has become apparent to me that I watch far too much TV.
|Date:||September 18th, 2006 07:19 pm (UTC)|| |
ha! this is totally me. that's not even close to all of the shows i'm watching either. it's sad.

I might watch Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip in October when my Mondays are free.
But you? Should watch House. Even just one episode.
I've seen parts of episodes. It does look good and interesting.

Grey's Anatomy has SUPER HOT DOCTORS.
(Mmm, Sandra Oh. ♥)
I like the description "critical-SQUEE" because not only is it fun to say, it's my favorite style of television recapping (ALL CAPS!).
If you only add one show, it should be House. Because Hugh Laurie is hilarious, and awesome. Hawsome. Plus, it has the Magic School Bus camera!

Scrubs! Scrubs, Scrubs, Scrubs, Scrubs, Scrubs!
It's still on? Like, I never know when the fucking hell it's on. I always like it when I see it, though.

OMG, The Office, now! I watched the British version first, and at first I was like, "How dare America try to replicate the hilarity?!?" The first two episodes of the American version are a little weird, because they are the same as the first two episodes of the British version but with Americanized jokes, so they're kind of awkward. However, once they got to write their own storylines, the show takes off and now I love it to pieces. And you should too! Also, you should watch The Amazing Race, because even though I am a reality TV whore, that is truly the best reality show out there. It's so well made and exciting!
You should have been watching the new season of venture brothers; it's the only thing worth watching on television.
|Date:||September 18th, 2006 06:34 pm (UTC)|| |
That's a good show.
You should post about Veronica Mars EVERDAYOMG but I'm going to try to not read anything anyone posts about it until the end of the season. Or at least the end of each mystery arc.
I don't know if it'll work (it'll require some RIDICULOUS self control on my part), but it was because I read everyone's blogging that I guessed the killer last season, and I really really really don't want to do that this year. It's more fun when I'm surprised.

Yeah, I'm about as spoiler-phobic as possible, so that'll probably be my plan, too.
|Date:||September 18th, 2006 06:34 pm (UTC)|| |
I don't know which of the new shows I'll watch (or which will be good, which isn't necessarily the same thing), but I'm going to give them a try.

Pysch. You have to watch Psych.
It is pure and simple fluff. There is no amazing case to be fascinated by, there are no heartfelt moments. It's just comedy done really well.
It doesn't come back on until January, though, so you've got a little time to figure out how to work it into your schedule. Though it's on USA and they tend to rerun their stuff multiple times during the week, so you should be able to catch it.
It did look pretty funny from the commercials.
"I'd like to interview the cat."
Okay, so I lose at LJ since I am apparently unable to do things CORRECTLY.
The one show that I watch that you don't have listed is Numb3rs, but that's because I'm a total math geek, and while procedurals typically don't do much for me, that amuses me to no end. Plus, Judd Hirsch and David Krumholz are awesome (and Rob Morrow isn't bad either :).
I'd totally pimp it out with an icon, but ... Jensen Ackles has been steadily taking over my iconage. So I told you to watch more SPN (because I *LOVE* that show), but your reasons for watching are likely different from mine. :)
I'm a math geek too, and I have a crush on Sabrina Lloyd, so I really should watch Numb3rs, but...you know. I already watch a lot.

Yay, new Vmars...which won't be shown here so I'll have to sneakily steal it, but new VMars anyway! I might watch a few Gilmore Girls eps, but I gave up on it and probably have no time (and no cable access) anyway. I watch Grey's, but I will tell you right now that it isn't exactly the smartest show on tv...it's just squee-y, especially for some characters (not so much plot all the time). And people do stupid things. So it can be frustrating.

I forgot to ticky the "other show" ticky box.
Because you have so much extra time...
Bones. They put David Boreanaz in a shirt that said "Super Villain". That's gotta count for something.
Boston Legal. Because it's a non-stop Star Trek cast reunion and it's freaking hilarious. *points to icon quote* Well, it's funny in context. Also, wonderfully bouncy theme music.

You should watch Jericho, because of the recaps. Duh.
That, and it probably won't last more than a few episodes anyway.
Ooh, are the recaps by Warren Ellis? No? Darn.
Oh goodness, I ticked off way to many shows to watch. And you didn't even cover all of them, like Ugly Betty and, uh, I don't know waht else. And I'm not even keeping up with the shows that are on NOW, and the season hasn't even started yet. MY LIFE IS SO STRESSFUL.
One day, I will watch TWW. Maybe.
I'm feeling withdrawals. Is this what it feels like to be you?
Dear Mr Sunil and His Infinite TV Skillz,
Why oh why have you not got Psych on that list. It is not good enough for me to just mention it in the comments. You should be pimping this show with all your might, because it is funny and well acted and charming and has a neat theme tune and is just plain worth it.
James Roday and Dule Hill Shane C.
But it's over, isn't it? It did look funny and enjoyable.
