12:12 am - Moe, Say, "Ick!"
Non-spoilery television thoughts to give this post more substance than the upcoming meme!

Fringe: Who's still watching this show? Because this episode made me glad I didn't give up on it. Things are tying together! There's an overarching story that's been building right before our eyes! And for the first time, I actually yelled, "WHAT?!" when I skipped through commercials and didn't find more show waiting at the other end. I don't usually care this much!

Pushing Daisies: Oh, you cute little wondrous thing. You are going to be a loss to the television landscape. Also, Kristin Chenoweth is adorable. And good God, I could drown in that cleavage.

My Name Is Earl: Is Ethan Suplee the most underrated comic actor of our time? Dear God, everything out of Randy's mouth is gold. For everyone not watching this show (and I think that's most of you), I must post this, re: the Olympic fanfare: "That guy's doing the theme song from that show that comes on every couple years about the different-colored people with superpowers like swimming fast or throwing sticks real far."

The Office: I cannot believe they made an episode about such a potentially banal topic so funny.

30 Rock: Tracy Morgan's elevator jokes were about as funny as Tracy Jordan's regular jokes. (Okay, the Star Trek thing was funny.)

And now that meme I warned you about.

04. Then share with the world.

1. First Name: Sunil.
2. Favorite Food: (evil) pizza.
3. Hometown: Arlington, TX. I almost used this one, though.
4. Favorite Color: blue.
5. Celebrity Crush: Jenna Fischer. But who can choose just one, really?
6. Favorite Drink: Coke, nectar of the gods.
7. Dream Holiday: Stonehenge. I know it's just a bunch of rocks, but I have an irrational desire to see it.
8. Favorite Dessert: brownie sundae. It's a brownie and a sundae!!
9. What I Want to Be When I Grow Up: famous writer. I tried to use this one, which was PERFECT, but it didn't work in the mosaic.
10. What I Love Most in the World: (your firm yet supple) tight embrace. Trivia: those two are siblings, but I do not love incest most in the world?
11. One Word That Describes Me: peculiar.
12. LiveJournal Name: spectralbovine gets no hits, but Spectral Bovine reminded me I still need to sue Blizzard.

latropita has mentioned something called the December blues. Is that a thing? BECAUSE I THINK I HAVE THEM. Another year coming to a close, and what have I accomplished in my life, really?
Current Mood: sadin the mouth of sadness
Current Music: Hey Ocean! - Terribly Stable

I can't tell, have you actually never heard of Seasonal Affective Disorder or holiday blues, or are you just being charmingly literal?

I think you should totally sue WoW. It'd be funny! Plus if you won then maybe certain of my friends would interact with me again instead of just their elven priest warriors and the glaven.

I find it very disorienting that you flopped the mosaic. YOU JUST HAD TO BE DIFFERENT, DIDN'T YOU.

I know about SAD, but I've never heard it referred to as the "December blues" before. I thought SAD started earlier. And my blues didn't start until...December.

I think you should totally sue WoW. It'd be funny!
spideychris notified me about the Spectral Bovines a year or two ago. I thought it was hilarious. I'm pretty sure I had the name first!

Fringe: Who's still watching this show?

I am! I am! Yeah, it got good didn't it? I didn't know that was the end for several week either. I was like "wha? NOOOOooooo!"

Pushing Daisies

Yeah, I'm-a-gonna miss that show. It's rare to find such saturated whimsy worth watching on TV.

The Office & 30 Rock

Great episodes tonight, both of them. I think that episode of 30 Rock is actually going down as one of my favorites. My sisters-in-law repeatedly tell me I am Liz Lemon. I'm not sure what to make of that. Heh.

I'm still watching Fringe and you know how much I loved that episode.

December blues huh? I don't think I'm blue but I've gone back and forth with perky/busy to emotional. Too many couply/family things right now that are hard.

Hee - funny meme.

7. Dream Holiday: Stonehenge. I know it's just a bunch of rocks, but I have an irrational desire to see it.

Very cool holiday choice.

I tried to use this one, which was PERFECT, but it didn't work in the mosaic.

I want that book!

I am still watching Fringe but am two weeks behind at the moment. I'm glad to know there is excitement coming. Pushing Daisies was a little overly whimsicle at the top of this season for me, I almost stopped watching. Then it settled back in and I was glad I had stayed. Sigh...

Oh and I watch My Name is Earl. It's good for at least one belly laugh every week.

Pushing Daisies is always pushing the boundaries of whimsy. It kept me from fully falling for it last season, I think, but I've just adored it this season.

And I agree about My Name Is Earl! It's usually something said by Randy or Crabman. I mean, Crabman only got one line this week, but it still cracked me up. Oh, Eddie Steeples.

I cannot have the December blues, it's such an awesome month, plus, it's sort of COLD (not really) down here! I can see my breath this morning.

Your mosaic looks good, I was kind of over this meme, but you and hellopoe are making me want to do it.

It's the 4x3 flip! I think it's more appealing that way.

Your mosaic is the wrong shape! I object. Except the coca-cola kid looks really happy, so, I guess I forgive you.

Aw, don't be blue. Decembers should be about hot chocolate and mittens and snow* and holidays from work, not about being sad and grey. :( Plus, you are an awesome person, so you shouldn't be down on yourself.

*note: snow not guaranteed in all climates

YAY! I haven't completely caught up with the show, since I've been going through them on my own time figuring I'd need something during hiatus, but the ones I have watched I've delightfully enjoyed with a hope that the little bits start clicking together. Nice to hear it's happening!

Stonehenge! I think it's pretty cool. They have audio guides to listen to as you walk around it that tell you about peoples' amazing theories about how ALIENS or WITCHES or SATAN built it. Plus, it's pretty awesomely epic.

That was my second-choice picture! But I wasn't sure whether it would mosaic properly.

I've always found Stonehenge to be so interesting. I just watched a show on The History Channel about yet another theory about its origins. We took the kids there when were were in London during the summer of 2003. Our holiday card that year was the five of us standing in front of Stonehenge. It was really cute.

I don't watch any of those shows anymore, but! I went to college with Kristin Chenoweth! I was a lowly freshman when she was a senior, and in grad school there. I only ever saw her in passing on campus, or when she competed in the Miss OCU pageants, or when she was in a school production BUT a friend of mine knew her and she said Kristen was very very nice. Genuinely so. So, that's cool.

That's good to hear! She seems like a sunny disposition suits her.

That's the pizza picture I used! Who can resist evil pizza? Mmmmmmmmm.

And you've accomplished BEING AWESOME. Revel in it! Lord knows the rest of us do. =)

(P.S. Avebury is totally superior to Stonehenge. For one thing you can get close to it as opposed to being pinioned several blocks away. Ditto the Ring of Broadgar)
